Fortis Materials develops engineered renewable-carbon materials for water treatment, construction, agriculture, and industrial applications.

We convert invasive and underused biomass into consistent, documented materials through controlled processing and application-specific testing. Every product is engineered for a defined use and supplied with lot-level quality data.

From invasive biomass to working materials.

FortisAquaSorb™

Engineered granular biocarbon media for water treatment and the adsorption of dissolved contaminants.

FortisStorm™

Applications : Where our materials are used.

Stormwater
Granular biocarbon media for retention ponds, roadside drainage channels, and stormwater systems, designed to intercept nutrients and sediment before discharge.
Concrete
Renewable-carbon inputs for nonstructural concrete, grout, pavers, and controlled low-strength material.
Explore concrete applications
Soil
Stabilization for weak subgrades, temporary access roads, and washout repair, mixed in place with the existing soil.
Plaster being applied to a wall during restoration work
Historic masonry and humid-climate buildings need walls that manage moisture rather than trap it. FortisDry™ is a porous mineral additive for lime and clay plaster systems, developed for exactly that condition.
Field scientist collecting samples at a remediation site
Odor control, contaminant adsorption, and site remediation share one requirement: a consistent carbon media with known particle size and surface characteristics. FortisChar™ and FortisRemediate™ are specified to deliver it.

Where carbon credits come as standard

Every lot of Fortis material comes with carbon removal credits. The carbon retained in our biocarbon is quantified at production and registered with an independent carbon registry. Credits are issued alongside the material and can be transferred or retired in the customer’s name, giving every purchase a verifiable carbon record together with its certificate of analysis and safety data sheet.
